You can create an account using Google sign-in or with your email and password. If you use Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo — we do not receive or store your Google password. If you sign up with email, we store your email address and a securely hashed version of your password; we never store your password in plain text.
When you use PostMaker, we store the prompts you submit, the content generated for your campaigns, your platform selections, and your subscription and usage data.
Uploaded images are stored to generate your content kit and remain accessible in your generation history for the retention period matching your plan (see Data Retention below), after which they are automatically deleted.
We use your data to operate PostMaker — to generate content, track your usage against your plan limits, process your subscription, and send you transactional emails (welcome, receipts, usage alerts).
We do not sell your data. We do not share your data with third parties for advertising purposes.
PostMaker uses the following services that may process your data:
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all your data is permanently deleted within 24 hours.
Campaign content is retained according to your plan: 7 days (Free), 30 days (Starter), 90 days (Pro), 1 year (Business).
You can export or delete your data at any time from Settings → Account. You can also email support@bypostamaker.com and we will respond within 7 days.
If you are in the European Economic Area, you have rights under GDPR including the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, and port your data. If you are in India, you have rights under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023.
